To determine which eCommerce solution you are on, see How do I know if I am using Native eCommerce or Third Party eCommerce?
The Estimated Delivery Date feature displays delivery date options at checkout before your customers complete their purchase. This is important because shoppers want to know when their purchase will arrive before they complete the order, so they can budget their time and resources accordingly. The dates that appear to your shoppers will depend on the shipping options you offer. If you have several options available, your customers will be able to choose the one that works best for them.
Delivery date estimates are available for all shipping methods except for local delivery and pickups.
To set up estimated delivery date:
-
In the side panel, click Sell Online, then click Manage Store.
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Next to the desired shipping method, click Actions and select Edit.
-
Enable the toggle for Show estimated delivery date at checkout.
-
Complete the following settings:
-
Order preparation time. How long it takes to get the order ready for shipping. This includes the time it takes for you to produce, assemble, and or pack your item.
-
Days when you pack orders. Define which days you pack orders so it can be taken into account when creating a delivery estimate.
-
I pack orders received past this time on the next day. Define a deadline for packing orders automatically, so the system knows that orders placed after a certain time will be processed the next day. This lag becomes calculated in the delivery date estimation. If the next day is your off day, the system will take this into account as well.

The estimated transit time defines how many days it takes to deliver the order from the carrier’s office to the customer’s location. If you ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, MDS, or Brasil Correios and use carrier-calculated automatic rates, your Store will receive transit times automatically and add them to the overall delivery calculation. This means you do not need to set up estimated transit time.
If you ship with another carrier, or set up the shipping options manually, you’ll have to define transit time manually. Ask your shipping company to help you with transit estimates and consider adding an extra day to the transit time to account for unexpected delays.
To set the estimated transit time:
-
In the side panel, click Sell Online, then click Manage Store.
-
Click Shipping & Pickup.
-
Next to the desired shipping method, click Actions and select Edit.
-
In the Show estimated delivery date at checkout section, click Edit.
-
In the Estimated transit times fields enter a minimum and maximum value.
-
Click Save.
